Amphora with Flowers

This composition of flowers is a wall piece using mixed media and terracotta clay.

The design has been inspired from the form of the ancient Greek amphoras with an engraved Indian ornament on its base. The ceramic flowers and leaves are coming out in different colours and movements with a wire loop in the middle to hang it on the wall. 

I use terracotta clay, nichrome wire, and a variation of colourful glazes and oxides.

Colour: Emerald Green base with multi-coloured flowers
